Fires in my home town of Mirboo North
THis is where i grew up....and where my parents still live.
Its pretty scary to think that the fire is going through this beautiful area in Gippsland.
My parents are pretty close to evacuating
SO fingers crossed their house is spared.....

yeah im feeling much better....just worrying about mum and dad now...lol!
Hi Fluer, my husband was one of the many fireman battling the fires at Mirboo has just gone to sleep at 12pm Saturday after being there since 7pm Friday night. Hope your parents are ok

I drove past there today Fleur and it is very smoky (like your pic) and eery too. Keep us informed on whats going on. Are they staying with you? Oh and good Luck to lauchy starting school... Can't wait to see his 1st day pics...
