Back From Sydney
I arrived home yesterday....I had a fantastic time in Sydney....it was an awesome TIME
This is me (lol) in front of the Sydney Opera House...little bit windy...so my hair is all over the place...*g*
My Sydney Trip
Left melbourne and arrived in Sydney early afternoon on Friday....I met up with Sandie at the airport and then we both caught a train to Circular Quay....we both did the touristy thing and took snap shots of the Opera House and of course the Sydney Harbour Bridge (would love to climb it one day)
We then caught another train and headed out to Hampton...to catch up with Jayne....I picked up my STAMPIN' UP order from Jayne (my first ever Stamp collection....*g*) I got the "Santa Post" (see page 21 of the online catalogue) set and the "Handmade with Love" set (see page 90 of the online catalogue)...they are such beautiful stamps. Jayne taught me a few stamping and cardmaking techniques and i made my very first STAMPED card....will uploade HERE shortly..... Saturday we all headed over to Paperific and there we caught up with some more ONLINE friends and did a SPOT of shopping LOL!....Sydney's Paperific...is more for stampers...but dont worry i managed to buy some goodies....Here is what i got
Reminisce - animal house paper
a collection of Around the Block papers
some NEW chatterbox papers
and other papers by...Junkitz, Karen Foster, K&Co, and SEI
I also STOCKED up on BAZZILL
I got a collection of NEW ribbons - so NOICE
some Bazzill 'Really Big Chips'
double sided tape
some more H2O's
some heart shaped brads (mixed)
Heidi Grace alpha pins
and a 7 Gypsies Journal Handle...for my SW CJ
Saturday night a whole group of us...stayed at Jayne's and we had full intentions of scrapping and or stamping...but intead we chatted till 1am in the morning
Sandie and i got up early to go to the airport...our flights were at 10.30am o
