The Spring Mini Catalogue finishes tomorrow

I have had LOADS of Top-Sellers with this mini - including the 'Scribble This' and the 'Office Accoutrement' stamp sets.

Ive been busy over at Scrapbook Capital doing some of the challenges for their latest Cybercrop - Ive managed to complete 3 of the 5 challenges - HOW GOOD IS THAT??? (well im chuffed!) It must be Lorrie's inspirational challenges that have got my butt into gear...thanks Lorrie!

On Monday night I went to Sandie's house to make some Chrissy decorations from beads.
Here are the results.

They were SO EASY to make...and how fantastic do they look. Ive just ordered some green and read beads to make some more.

this is my first EVER online Tutorial on my blog.

This is the WOW demonstration I did at the recent Melbourne Stampin' Up! Regionals

Step 1: COLLECT your Materials

For this project I'm using:
Onboard Accents - Heart shape chipboard, Whisper White pigment ink pad, Heat and Stick Powder, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Heat gun tool.

Step 2: INK up your chipboard

Using the Whisper White Pigment ink pad, ink up the entire chipboard shape.

Step 3: Sprinkle HEAT and STICK powder ALL over your 'inked' chipboard shape

Using one of our Powder Pal trays, makes using embossing powders and glitters a breeze to clean up. Once you have covered your chipboard shape with the Heat and Stick Powder, tap off excess into the tray and then pour back into its container.

Step 4: HEAT set the Heat and Stick Powder

With your heat gun, heat the Heat and stick powder until it goes 'glossy' - take care as you CAN OVER HEAT and burn. I like to use a rotating motion. You will see the powder go from Matte to Glossy fairly quickly.

Step 5: Adding the DAZZLING DIAMONDS


Sprinkle the Dazzling Diamonds over your Chipboard piece - that is NOW 'sticky' with the heated Heat and Stick Powder - Tap off excess into your Powder Pal Tray.

Step 6: Heat Set your Dazzling Diamonds
Once again use your Heat Gun Tool to 'quickly' re-heat and to Set the Glitter. This only takes a moment - be very careful not to OVER HEAT.




Step 7: Add to a Decorative box



For my triangle shaped box, I have used:
Basic Black cardstock, stamped with the NEW French Flaire background stamp (available from the 1st of December) in Whisper White Ink, I have decorated my Accents Chipboard shape with some of the NEW ribbons from the FLIRTY ribbon pack (also available from the 1st of December)

I was asked to DEMO a WOW technique (3 other demo's too) to everyone at Regionals today. As a thankyou gift - The girls and guys from SU! made me a beautiful card, that they all signed and I also get to choose a stamp set of my choice, either from the Main Catty or the new MINI - WOO HOO! Seriously excited

Well it arrived...and I couldnt wait to mount it - didnt take too long....and SERIOUSLY how cute is it? I have so many ideas running around in my head at the moment...will share as they come together!

Using the new ALL in the Family Stamp Set

I couldnt wait to use this stamp set when it arrived....so I quickly whipped up this card for my new niece. I also used: Big Deal Alpha and Bodacious Bouquet.

I have been busily working on LOADS of projects today. Something for Lorrie over at Scrapbook Capital and also 'experimenting' with some new GOODIES for the upcoming SUMMER MINI Catalogue - arriving soon!

Im memory of Dave Abbott,
Stampin' Up!'s Australian General Manager passed away in October from a very rare blood disease. I was unfortunate to not have met Dave - but from what other demonstrators have said about him, he was an amazing man and touched the hearts of many people.

In honour of Dave, Stampin' Up! are releasing the All in the Family stamp set for the month of November.
