I decided to have a little play with my stamps and 1 of the Large flowers from the Pretties Kit.

Start with a flower from the Pretties Kit

Choose your Ink colour and Stamp Design


Ink up your stamp


Stamp onto your flower - making sure you have some 'scrap' paper underneath.




Add to your craft project

I created a LO for my good friend Lorrie who went into hospital on Thursday to have a HIP operation. Anyone who knows lorrie - knows that she is a super wonderwoman....and to have this huge operation is just another reason why im in total awe of her.
Love you lots Lorrie....take care...and all the wishes in the world for a speedy recovery!

Stampin' Up Launch PARTY!!!!

Thursday night I had my 'annual' Catalogue Launch Party.
It was a HUGE success, with 22 keen stampers and scrapbookers attending.

I had a nice display showcasing alot of the NEW Stamps and tools in this years SU! Idea Book & Catalogue. A huge thanks to all my 'fellow demonstrators' who swapped cards with me at Convention - you helped me out big time for my Display Boards.

I organised 2 Make and Takes for the night.....and LOADS of prizes.

CONVENTION Brisbane 2008

WOW!!!
I have had the best weekend ever!

The theme for this years convention was 'Dream Big'

Brisbane was beautiful - 29C days and very much a 'layed-back' city.
We had 2 full days of workshops and seminars and then the formal Awards night on Saturday.


Once we had 'checked in' we received our name badges and a bag FULL of goodies
....very nice goodies too!

Inside our bags were 2 new sets from the New Idea Book & Catalogue
Happiness Background Stamp
Fun and Fast notes
I also received from the 'Leadership night', the Garden Whimsy set
and for my Sales Award I received the It's all Good stamp set.

I SWAPPED my 50 cards and received these GORGEOUS cards and OTP items.
so many fantastic ideas

such a thrill....as she is a wonderful person.....

Im OFF to BRISVEGAS

WOW....how has this crept up so quickly?
Tomorrow Im off to Brisbane for the 2008 Stampin' Up! Convention.

Im SO EXCITED!
Im flying up with a group of fellow demonstrators and 4 of us are sharing an apartment not far from where the CONVENTION will be held - Brisbane Convention Centre.

I wanted to upload pics of my Swaps.....but I have run out of time.
I promise I will share LOADS of pics from my little Getaway and all those who have booked workshops for April and May - be prepared for LOADS of inspiration and NEW IDEAS.

Had a fantastic weekend of celebrating with family and friends.

We had Pina Colada's and Fruit Tingle flavoured.


I received some awesome Pressies too.
Dale suprised me with a Nikon DIGITAL SLR camera......so not what i was expecting....I had sent him to Tiffany & Co, but I couldnt have asked for a better pressie.....now ive just got to learn how to use it....hehehehehehe.
