As some of you know...i am now a 'ambassador' for Kidston Craft....i will be giving away certain items after i have finished using them for DT projects....these may be already used (ie stamps etc) or may be excess papers etc...that i do not require....

Back From Sydney

I arrived home yesterday....I had a fantastic time in Sydney....it was an awesome TIME

This is me (lol) in front of the Sydney Opera House...little bit windy...so my hair is all over the place...*g*

My Sydney Trip
Left melbourne and arrived in Sydney early afternoon on Friday....I met up with Sandie at the airport and then we both caught a train to Circular Quay....we both did the touristy thing and took snap shots of the Opera House and of course the Sydney Harbour Bridge (would love to climb it one day)

We then caught another train and headed out to Hampton...to catch up with Jayne....I picked up my STAMPIN' UP order from Jayne (my first ever Stamp collection....*g*) I got the "Santa Post" (see page 21 of the online catalogue) set and the "Handmade with Love" set (see page 90 of the online catalogue)...they are such beautiful stamps. Jayne taught me a few stamping and cardmaking techniques and i made my very first STAMPED card....will uploade HERE shortly..... Saturday we all headed over to Paperific and there we caught up with some more ONLINE friends and did a SPOT of shopping LOL!....Sydney's Paperific...is more for stampers...but dont worry i managed to buy some goodies....Here is what i got

Saturday night a whole group of us...stayed at Jayne's and we had full intentions of scrapping and or stamping...but intead we chatted till 1am in the morning
Sandie and i got up early to go to the airport...our flights were at 10.30am o

Im OFF to SYDNEY

Woo Im off to Sydney tomorrow.....im heading off (0n my own - eeeeeeeeekkkkkk) to catch up with some of the top50 girls and also to go to Sydney Paperific....my flight is at lunchtime tomorrow and then i arrive around 1.30 in sydney....Sandie and i are going to do the TOURISTY thing in the city....take some pictures etc, and perhaps do a spot of shopping (ohh la la) I really want to go to the Opera House ....and the docks (great candle and bead shop there apparently)...and then we will head over to Jayne's...Saturday we are all heading to Paperfic and then Saturday night we are hanging out at Jayne's house...so im sure not much SLEEP will be happening LOL! and then Sunday i will be heading home again....
I cant wait...but im also a bit nervous too....its my first trip without DH and DS...im sure they will be fine...but WHAT ABOUT ME???? *g*


Hopefully i will have loads of photos to show you when i get back...

July's Get Together

Well today we had our July get together ...it was fantastic...we held it at Scrappers Warehouse and we were all spoilt rotten by Sally...as she bought 3 boxes of KK doughnuts...mmm thanks Sally....It is always fantastic meeting up with all the girls, meeting newbies and of course having a good ole chin way about anything and everything

CHA-Product Sneak Peeks

Well as you all know...i tend to get stuck on the computer too much....and then i dont get too much scrapping done....why does this always happen?

Well ive been looking around at all the NEW STUFF been released soon in the US...for CHA...here are a few things i found...that i wouldnt mind getting my hands on...*g* hopefully they will all be available in AUS....soonish

How cute are these little stamps?...There are loads of different designs...so cute...they are from 7 Gypsies


and arnt these the cutest...they are also from 7 Gypsies....and they would look perfect in my custom designed scrapbook room (just kidding...I would love one of those 'purely devoted' scrapbook rooms though - who wouldnt?) You could hang them from a shelf and add your works of art.....

Today I managed to get 1 layout completed for Kidston Craft...and i also started a 2nd....I have also pretty much finished my layout for the Scrapbook Creations Competition....I know i keep saying im almost finished...but i really mean it this time...promise

I wonder if i can give you all sneek peeks?.....will see!

Ive Been Busy

Yestereday I received 2 US CK magazines in the mail....they were apparently a month behind (with their subscriptions) ....so i got my JULY and AUGUST copies together...woo hoo....cant wait to SIT down and take a moment to read them both cover to cover...

Yep I have been busy scrapping (and a little chatting *g*) all day today...with Cindy (from Scrappers Warehouse)....
But unfortunately i cant show you anything as yet....sorry....
I was actually working on my LO for the Scrapbook Creations Competition - Im really pleased with how it has turned out so far...but i havnt finished it yet....hopefully tonight it will be almost complete (fingers crossed)
How cool would it be to win one of those HORN scrapbooking workstations?....I would need a new house to fit it in.....LOL...but wouldnt it be nice *g*
Cindy managed to get a layout done...and it looked gorgeous *g*...Im sure you will all be able to see it soon in the Scrappers Warehouse Gallery .

Tonight im planning on doing up some more SW class samples, some AED layouts using the new vellums and also reading my 2 US CK magazines......

8x8 - Its FUN

Ive just whipped up an 8x8 layout of Lauchie....
I used the junkitz papers and a few ribbons etc...the photo was taken at Cindy's (Scrappers Warehouse Cindy *g* I have 2 friends named Cindy) on a RED FIRE - ENGINE pedal car.... Ive done a bit of doodling too (not the best...but i do LOVE to doodle)

Back From South Australia

We are now back from S.A. We had a great time at Eve's 30th birthday bash and it was great to see everyone again....
I met up with some of the girls from Riverland Scrapbooking...and managed to buy some goodies (wasnt hard *g*).... I met up with Mardi ....it was fantastic meeting with her IRL, her work is gorgeous.... Unfortunately Belinda was sick...so i was unable to catch up with her...I got to see some of her work IRL...and it 'too' is gorgeous...


Today I organised my classes with Scrappers Warehouse...so im really excited about this...so if you are in the area (Narre Warren) check out the shop and pick up a class list - my classes will be starting from August 2006.....Hope to see some familiar faces and of course meet some newbies.....

Lauchie is in daycare today...he really enjoys his time there....which im relieved about *g* Hopefully we will be able to get him in 2 days a week soon....

Tomorrow Im off scrapping with a friend...cant wait....will show you all the results *g* I just have to organise what im going to take...Ill probably end up taking everything *g*

Well im off now....I have loads of class ideas...and i have to get scrapping *g*
