Ive made a few cards today...
Super QUICK and EASY....but i like them still!

What is everyone doing over the Long Weekend?

Im continuing to De-Clutter....dont you hate it when you chuck out a WHOLE heap of stuff...but you dont seem to be making anymore room?
Saturday I have to go to a TUPPERWARE party that my sister is hosting....lol
Sunday morning im catching up with some friends...which will be fantastic...and in the afternoon im going to visit Vicky....I cant wait...

and im also going to try and fit in some scrappin' - Top 50 has organised a long weekend 'Australia Day' Crop....check out the challenges - there are some great prizes to be won!

Ive just received and email from Maelynn in the USA

I had entered one of my layouts for a CALL on Pub Calls Blog

as she is creating a Doodling book to be published soon...in the USA.
One of my layouts has been accepted to feature in the Doodling Book....Im just so excited...I mean how COOL is that....WOO HOO...

2007 is proving to be GREAT so far....I really feel like im doing WHAT I WANT...without been restricted...and it feels SO GOOD....

You can see my name HERE. The only other name i spotted was Kimberly Archer.....Im assuming thats OUR Kim....*g*

there is still a chance my layout wont make it in the final cut...it all depends on space etc....so fingers crossed my lil' ole layout makes it......

This is one of the NEW and EXCITING things that are getting released at CHA in the USA...
I think this is the coolest storage item....
I would use it for all my sticker sheets and rubons etc...so cool

I think its going to be pretty pricey $$$...but hey...that price you pay for 'organisation' ...lol!

Weekend WONDERS

Well we had a fantastic weekend

We decided to go to Ashcombe Maze on Saturday. It was absolutely fantastic...I cant believe i hadnt been before...Lauchlan had SO MUCH fun searching for the hidden gnomes and fairies...and the Maze was just amazing...so much fun.


I just love the above photo...im going to HAVE to scrap this one...

and then on Sunday....Lauchie was invited to his friend (blaine's) 4th birthday bash..It was held at a roller skating rink...and the kids had full access to rollerskates, scooters, and skateboards (yep TOTALLY FUN!) Lauchlan had an absolute blast.....



and lastly.................. i got my 2 cards sent off to Oprah and Ellen today

Top 50 ONGOING CHALLENGE

I was challenged on Top50 to create a layout

The criteria consisted of:

Monochromatic
Use Doodling templates
Use 1 larger photo and 2 smaller photos

Here is what i came up with (sorry about the crappy scan - my scanner has decided to not to work) I will scan and upload better images soon

Maya Road Mini Booklet

I saw these little chipboard albums at SW and i just had to have 1 (or 2..hehehe)
Ive been busy working on my 4x4 sized album for a couple of days now....and im so happy to say that i have FINISHED....

I had the idea to make Lauchie a little book about himself....so here are the results....tfl!



I created the front cover using lots of different ribbons
a MM chipboard letter (f) - painted with H2O's (love those)
and Heidi Grace pin letters (funny) - Ive had these for ages and was 'stumped' on how to use them..and to finish the cover off - i used some ribbon to bind around the edge and added some doodlebug rubons (faces) and used my trusty white signo writer for the rest


On the inside cover i used bazzill bling (gosh i love this stuff)
Some Foofala tags, my Stampin Up stamps, and MM rubons (january)
Page 1 - I have just cut a photo to fit the chipboard page

Page 2 - Foofala paper, Rubons
Page 3 - Lined transparency, AC rubon (dotted circle), foofala circle tag, MM new Kraft paper

I popped into Top50 last night...as they were having a cybercrop.... I managed to get 1 challenge done - using a sketch that was provided for the challenge....

My Little Artist

Just had to share this Amazing picture drawn by my very clever 3.5 year old.
This is an ALIEN...with triangle teeth (meaning SHARP) - off to the right is a spaceship with fire and wings...and the round thing protruding from the aliens head - off to the left - is a planet....
im very impressed....

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone
I hope you had an enjoyable night like i did....lol!
Im SO EXCITED about 2007........im really determined to set som Resolutions....and 'stick with them' - i will TRY really hard....

A HUGE thankyou to Mardi who has created another GORGEOUS header for me....thankyou so much Mardi....xxxooo

Now to my 2007 resolutions/goals

-Do a short course in 'photo shop' so that i dont have to bug Mardi anymore.....
-Do a photography course - I would love to become 'some what' professional
-To get to my GOAL weight of 75kg - I really have to do this, this YEAR!
-To get a published in an international scrapbooking or cardmaking magazine
-Enter the Masters this year.....
-Go on a Holiday sometime this year

Thats all i can think of at the moment....but im sure i will come back and add a few more when i think of them......
Hopefully i can look back on this at the end of the year....and have some of them ticked off.


Other news
I entered the Page Maps competiton - but unfortunately my layout didnt get chosen for January's newsletter...So after my 'big tease' of only showing you little bits and pieces...i can now show you the WHOLE layout

Each decoration was cut from the New Rusty Pickle 'Grinchmas' papers - outlined in black pen and then coated in glitter glaze (around 3 coats) I used Felt ric rac to 'create' a decoration that swept over the layout and framed the photo. I used a MIX of Scrapfx letters and also coated them in the dimensional glitter glaze. I used a template to create the 'doodling' around the outside in white pen and randomly placed white brads around the outside......and the photo - well its just too cute - GRUMPY reindeer!
