Scrapbook Storage

Was just checking out the MM blog and discovered some AMAZING scrapbook rooms.....How Lucky are these people....How i would wish for custom made Scrapbooking room.....

These images got me thinking.....How does everyone store their scrapbooking bits and bobs? Do you have your very own 'scrapbooking room'? I would love to see pictures....so send them in via email and Ill put them up here on my blog...for everyone to see...
Oh and if you've got any WONDERFUL storage ideas.....I would love to hear them too....

Lauchlan's 3rd Birthday Bash

Well Sunday was a great day....
We organised lauchie's 3rd birthday to be a party theme. I found some awesome things to go with the whole "Pirate Party"....
Lauchlan had a gorgeous Pirate costume on.....the full outfit....eye patch, earing, hook arm, and hat....(photos coming soon)
All his friends (and some of the uncles) dressed up too....everyone looked fantastic.....
We had a treasure hunt, pass the parcel, pin the pirate on the treasure chest and a Treasure Chest Birthday Cake with treasure too

I was so impressed with how the cake turned out....but i burnt my 'mix master's motor' making it.....I was just not ment to cook....cant wait till I'm rich and I dont have to cook anymore (yeah when is that going to happen) and I know what you are all thinking (well those who know i did my diploma in hospitality management) - "what you dont like cooking?" - the answer is NO!!!!

Scolded

Well I know ive been slack this week....but hey Ive been busy.....*G*
Ive just been told of by the lovely Tamara *g* for not having my SPT pic up so here it is....It is the back of my head (incase you didnt notice *g*) and im sitting at the computer trying to get a picture of myself up for Self Portrait Tuesday/Wednesday...... oh and its 11pm - so im not looking my best............lol

Dont you just love the 'scrunchie' (hair accessory trend of the 90's) - I'm one of those fans that just cant get rid of my stash of scrunchies....Ive got loads of them and LOVE to wear them.......I always wear one when I go to bed....I cant sleep without tying my hair up (is that weird?)...The above blue one is my fav atm....

Oh and please excuse the mess - its not mine its DH's.....promise *G*

Tomorrow I'm heading off to Target....they are having a MASSIVE homewares sale....and I'm going to be there.....racing with my trolley and Lauchie....to get the bargains *g*

Fabbo FRIDAY!

Well yep its Friday again....I love Fridays......

I had my Weight Watchers Weigh In Today......................and.............................
I lost .3kg (300gm)...Happy with that, as this week I was unable to get much exercise in, as Ive been rather busy going here there and everywhere.
I forgot to mention that I was invited to a partylite party
on Wednesday night....It was held at 'Scrap N Time" in Bayswater, by my good friend Ruth....WOW they have some BEAUTIFUL stuff....*g* I only spent a little bit, and then decided to have a pary of my own...will try and score some free stuff, or at least a good discount.....It was a little expensive - but SO GORGEOUS.....
The little tealight bowl on the bottom of the picture is what i bought....It has 2 inserts (an elephant one and a giraffe one) and when the tealight candle is lit inside - it flickers and gives the feeling of movement....It is trully gorgeous............


After that, Ruth offered 30% off everything in the store.....so that was an awesome surprise for the night......I bought some embellishments and some Twinkling H2O's - how cool are these.....I had resisted for quite some time and now i wonder how i will live without them (its always the way isnt it?)

and.................. Tonight Im 'attempting' to do some challenges for the cybercrop at Chookscraps....Ive got some great photos ready and the HOUSE is SO CLEAN.....I'm feeling really inspired....so fingers crossed the 'Scrapping vibes flow'....

Sunday I'm heading over to an AED crop - should be great FUN and I'll be catching up with a few girls too..........and we are even allowed to go swimming afterwards...........not sure if im ready to bare all in a bathing suit....just yet....but it is going to be 36C....so who knows *g*

Oh and i forgot to mention that i had a great time last night with my Mary Kay makeover....Got some great tips and also spent some $$$ too.....cant wait to get my goodies.....*g*

Mary Kay Makeover

Well after losing quite a bit of (excess) weight *g*.....I decided to organise a 'mini makeover' with Mary Kay......Its all happening tonight at 8pm....
Its just another step that I've decided to take for 'myself'....for years ive never worn makeup...only if i go out...........dont get me wrong.....I love the fact that i can go anywhere and not worry that im wearing make or not.....Its just got to the stage where im feeling good about myself and who i am and I just wanted to 'reward' myself a little...I'm aiming on learning two different ways to apply and wear my makeup.....

2. night time

Tuesday.......again!!!

Well, yep.... its Tuesday again...... and NO i havnt done my 'Self Portrait'............ yet .....Promise I will have it done by the end of the week....

Ive been rather busy doing some AED layouts....... and this is what ive come up with....both layouts have used some of the 'older' and 'newer' ranges together....... Check out what the other AED DT members have created - here.

This first layout was based on the converstion Lauchie and i had about his 'first tattoo' - that came with his matchbox car....I basically asked Lauchie what his tattoo said, his reply was "Lauchie Dont touch" - in other words dont mess with him *g* When I told him it said 'MUM' - he didnt believe me............Got to love 2 year olds/almost 3 year olds ......

This second was inspired from one of Lauchie's t-shirts....I created the little 'surfboards' from the different AED paper ranges and then 'handpunched the wave design onto the cardstock (yes it took ages *g*)

How cute are these photos??? Lauchie got a little tattoo with his matchbox car today.......It's the coolest tattoo - cos its got MUM written on it........In the first photo I asked lauchie to show me his muscles.....*g* My little muscle man........who loves his mum *g*

Its funny, i just asked Lauchie what his tattoo said - he replied "Lauchie - GO AWAY!" - I said "No - it says Mum".......and lauchie replied "NO! - Lauchie Go Away!!!" - so funny.......

Self Portrait Tuesday - aka Thursday (Im catching up)

Well you'll be happy to know that im getting closer and closer to getting a 'Self Portrait on a TUESDAY'........This one was taken today....the flowers were picked by my darling son Lauchie *g* - no stems......so therefore they cant go in a vase.....so i thought i would take a photo of them.....the hand is mine *g*

Running behind

Well im running behind again for my 'self portrait Tuesday'....promise (again) i will have something for you shortly (im sure you are all hanging out to see 'another' pic of me *g*)...Today i went to Richmond to see my cousin.....we did a bit of shopping (ikea) and even a bit of scrappin'....Last night i did this LO for the Top 50 FEB design sketch...I used some AED papers, Lil Davis chipboard coaster, MM velvet letters, mm tab letters....
I'm planning on scrapbooking tonight - so im going to be good and not CHAT for too much longer *g* - lately ive been doing more chit chatting than scrappin' and im a bit behind on things.....but hey.....!!!!!
