Kinder Kid

as of next year....my little boy will be startind KINDER at our local kinder...woo hoo

I cant believe the WHOLE Kinder selection is bull#&$% - first in best dressed...whats with that?
anyways....i did a MAD DASH to get lauchie into the NEWLY built kinder in our estate....and woo hoo....he was selected....

but it didnt stop there......

I had to also pick my preferable days.....now im pretty happy with any day really....but when i saw the GROUP 3 days and times....i just HAD TO HAVE THEM.....lol
The class times were delivered in the post on MONDAY....(Day before CUP DAY)...so obviously i couldnt drop them off on the Tuesday, because they would be closed...and then wednesday Kinder isnt on....so i couldnt get my choices in until the Thursday....i was so worried that i was going to miss out the times that i wanted.....and that i would end up getting all EARLY morning starts.....

but i have just gotten back from the Kinder meeting....and Lauchie is in the Group that i wanted.....what a relief.......*g*

oh and i had to sign myself up for the FUNDRAISING commity.....scrapbooking days here I come.....lol!

Card Making FRENZY.........

I seem to be making more cards atm...instead of layouts...but i guess its that time of year

last night i went card making with my good friend Ruth...I have started 'tagging' along with Ruth's group of friends (whom are all really lovely)...i love making cards...or just getting out and about...
In 2 weeks time....i am HOSTING them all at my house.... we are going to do some CHRISSY related things....it is going to be so much FUN....
If anyone else wants to join me...it will be on Tuesday 12th of December at 7pm - my place!

HIGH SCHOOL REUNION 2006

Well last night was my High School REUNION at my old HOME TOWN of
MIRBOO NORTH

I went to Mirboo North Kinder, Primary, and Secondary (high school) - so most of them, I grew up with all my life...till i was 18 any way...and i ventured to the big smoke..............
Everyone from our year level from Year 7 (1990) to year 12 (1996) were invited...some didnt come..but the majority did...which was fantastic

Christmas Card production line......................

I have finally got my BUTT into gear....and ive started my chrissy cards for family and friends.
I was determined to hand make them this year....
They are looking good...but now i cant find my Stampin Up brown ink pad...and i need to do some stamping....so there is a little hault in the production line atm. I hope i find it soon!
I have used the New MM Chrissy papers....will share some pics soon.

Tomorrow i have my 10 year HIGH SCHOOL reunion....arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Im a little (a lot) nervous...dont know why...i just am...lol!
I hope it all goes well....most of them i havnt seen in the 10 years
I'll keep you all posted...lol!
Dale and Lauchie are going with me for moral support....so im sure ill be fine...

Im not working at the shop on Sunday....as we are staying down in Gippsland Saturday night....so it will be nice to have the whole weekend off!

Christmas Gift Ideas

I had been trying and trying to think of a Cheap and inepensive gift to give to Lauchie's DayCare teachers.....







They are little POST IT NOTE holders.....
I have used the new 3 Bugs papers to create these.....they were fairly easy to make...and didnt take too long either....

I have a couple of 'spares' - so if you would like to recieve one as a RAK...please make a comment....its as simple as that...i will randomly select 3 winners (oh and be sure to tell me what you think....lol)

Christmas Photo Shoot...and Daycare photos

I have just had all my Chrissy photo shoot photos printed up at Harvey Norman - ready to be put inside this years Chrissy cards...and i also picked up Lauchie's Daycare photos

they all look so good....i will share them with you later on tonight....(after i get back from the gym)

I really LOVE how these have turned out...the scenery is gorgeous (gum trees and all) and i really love the 'feel' of Summer that they bring (aussie christmas is all about HOT Weather..isnt it?)

and here are a few of the DayCare photos that i received.....they were all beautifully presented in a blue little post bound album...the photos and albums were made by Mayfield Studio Photography (0405 158 184)

November Get Together

Today was our monthly get together....we all met up at Scraptacular again....Had a cuppa and a good ole' chin wag...and then headed in to the shop to stock up on some goodies

Check out that Christmas tree....how awesome is that? I cant wait to paint and decorate it. Cindy at Scrappers Warehouse is teaching a class with this christmas tree...im sure it will be a fantastic class....book in if you can.
I also got some Poinsettia flowers, and some acrylic chrissy tags...LOVE CHRISSY STUFF!

Last Friday....Tamara organised and ran the cybercrop at top50 . I managed to get 2 layouts done...even though one of them didnt quite meet the criteria set for the challenge

I just love the photos....and the fact that they are ODD socks...makes it even cuter...lol!
