Another GREAT DAY......

Ok....where do i begin?

I went scrapping today at my friend Sally's house....we have started getting together to scrap....and its working...we are generally getting 1 LO done...(which is great...when more than half the day is spent chatting....lol!) I also got to see Suzie - HI GIRLS......

I'm just 'tweeking' my LO that i started and almost finished today....will share with you really soon......promise!

but........here are some LO's that i have been working 'ON and OFF' on.....
This one I have entered for the February Design Sketch on TOP50


This one is my attempt for the 123 Challenge - Challenge No. 1

I have been working on this one for a little bit...but it just wasnt coming together...and then i was fortunate enough to use Sally's CRICUT machine for the title - woo hoo...thanks Sall!
The Criteria was BLING, BUTTONS and CHIPBOARD (you cant really see my Bling! but i used Lil Davis Glitter Glaze over the title and the other criteria...you should be able to spot)

I also received these 2 book/mags in the mail today

I just love anything put out my Scrapbook Trends.....specially the Cards editions
i buy them on ebay...as some shops charge over $40 for them

I have to give a HUGE thanks to my friend Angie who gave me the 'beautifullest' RAK ever.

This paper by Creative Imaginations....would have to be the MOST BEAUTIFUL paper i have EVER seen IRL....and that is saying something....im almost too scared to use it......lol! Thanks again Angie xxxooo

Now...just a couple more things...so sorry this post is SO LONG....
After my day of Scrapbooking....i picked up Lauchlan...and checked my emails.
I found out i have a CARD getting published in an upcoming issue of Stamping & Papercraft magazine.....im so excited...this is my VERY FIRST Card Publication.....can anyone tell me how much they pay?
and also
My Grumpy Reindeer LO is getting published in issue 44 of SC (some of you know that it was originally getting published in a book in the USA...but i decided in the end not to send it...due to not getting any kind of compensation for postage...and not even a COPY of the finished book.) So now it will be appearing in a future edition of the AUSSIE SC magazine - in the Christmas in July section.

well i think that's it.....sorry to make this post SO LONG....but lots happened today

Scrapbooking wise....and also POST wise.....
so this is a WARNING...very LONG POST!!!!!!!

I managed to get 2 LO's done and a card...and I also got a GOOD play with my new Stampin' Up! stamps....*g*
I will share images with you, later in this post...

Today i got a knock at the door...and i saw not 1, not 2.....but 3 parcels for me.....i was in total POSTAL HEAVEN.....hehehe

1st parcel was.... my RAK from the lovely Lisa in the USA....and wow...i was spoilt rotten...seriously!!!!

I got some GORGEOUS floral brads (never seen these before...they are by K&Co), matching cardstock photo mat pad of 32 - just delicious, Lil Davis Rickrack Runway, and a Maya Road chipboard flower booklet.....
thankyou so much Lisa....you have really 'blown me away' with your generosity...xxxooo

2nd parcel...was my order from Crafting In Style...I ordered some of the new Basic Grey papers...and its so YUMMO (phoebe would have to be my fav)....Oh and i got the BG precision Files...I havnt been able to find any down here in VIC....so im so glad i snapped some up from Jolene....hehehe...they are AWESOME


3rd parcel...was my 'No More Photos' LO - and my contributors copy of SC magazine....but no cheque...so i dont know what happened there!

I really love the stamped background - but not sure about the rest...lol!

2nd LO was a for a product challenge on Riverland Scrapbooking... i was sent the Lil Davis epoxy stickers and metal frames to use on a LO...

was just for fun...playing with my SU stamps
I used a couple of stamps from the 'Good things Grow' set, Not quite Navy and rose red ink, silver brad.

Birthday Celebrations

Tomorrow 25th of February 2007

is my BLOGS 1 year birthday.....woo hoo

Who would have thought i would be blogging for a year now....I love the fact that i can look back on past posts and remember happenings etc....its a great reference for scrapbooking...invaluable in fact. I also love the that i can keep in contact with my friends and family...(hello - waving!!!)

So to help celebrate this 'milestone' ...lol!
I will be giving away a small prize - but it will be a GOODIE!

Now onto Challenge 2 - FELT!!!

Yesterday and Last night.............

Yesterday i caught up with the Lovely Bonnie from Bons Scraps... We had coffee and did some shopping...and then we headed to Harvey Norman to get some pics printed up...but the line was too busy...(people had already been waiting for an hour) Thats what you get for 'Cheap Tuesday' - anyway we headed down to Spotlight...and stocked up on Felt (I needed some for challenge 2 on Crafting in Style 'Dare to be a DT member') I couldnt decide on what colours...so just to let you know...Spotlight at F'Gate has no felt left now....lol!
I had intentions of going to the gym and doing loads of other stuff...but it didnt happen...so i then went and picked up Lauchie from Kinder...cos it was nearly 4pm by then (sheeeeeesh time flies)

Last night...DH had 'instructions' to record Biggest Loser and All Saints...as i was going out Scrapbooking/cardmaking at Ruth's house - DH did a good job...*g*
I had a great time last night...didnt get a whole lot done...(more chatting that anything - but that's ok) but i did manage to 'almost' finish my commissioned LO for SC...woo hoo..

Onto other NEWS...who is wathching BIGGEST LOSER? I love this show...it is really quite motivating...even though their weight losses are HUGE...and seriously NOT achievable in everyday life...I gain inspiration and determination to do well in my weight loss goals for this year..
SO far...i have lost 2.2kg....

All Saints is back on tomorrow night....GOSH i LOVE this show...ive been waiting and waiting for the series to return....so i wont be around tuesday night....lol!

We went to the ZOO, ZOO, ZOO

Wow...what a fantastic day we had at the Melbourne ZOO...absolutely brilliant....
Lauchie had a wonderful time...and i managed to get some GREAT photos...but batteries went flat at the end...so missed out on pics of the bears, seals, and wolves....oh well!

So here is the TOUR of the zoo - Loads of photos...(so im warning you now..lol!)










i really LOVE the photo of lauchie reading the map...he is very good at directing us...lol!
and the photos of Lauchie looking at the butterfly....just gorgeous....it was SO HOT in there though....lol! (hence the SWEAT....)

Weekend..............

Well this weekend was rather a busy one (they always seem to be atm)

Friday Night I went and scrapped with Lea and a group of girls....it was fantastic....I managed to get ALOT of talking done...but not a whole lotta scrappin...lol!
But i did 'mostly' complete 1 Lo that i have been working 'on and off' on - and ive finished it today...Cant share it just yet....*g*

Saturday i took lauchie to a b'day party....he had a great time...
When we got their the kids knew each other and they all said Hello to one another...which was really cute...cos most of the mums hadnt met before....lol!

This afternoon i went grocery shopping....boring I know...but it had to be done....and now we have food in the house...lol!

I wanted to attempt some of the challenges on TOP50 this weekend too...but i wasnt inspired by the challenges this month...so couldnt get my 'mojo' happening for the CC...oh well!

Here is the LO i did for the Australia Day Competiton on TOP50 - There hasnt been any announcement for the winners yet......but last time i looked at the Poll's it was 5 to 8...so i probably missed out...but thats cool...



I used a few 'older' products for this one...which was great

KINDER KID

Well today was a HUGE Success....Lauchie had an absolute ball....He didnt want to leave ....lol!



He didnt know where to begin.....there was so much stuff to look at and things to play with.
He managed to cook pancakes and eggs on the toy stove...and serve the girls at the table (oh what a gentleman), played blocks, painted a picture, played with jigsaw puzzles....all in the span of 1 hour......
He cant wait for next week.....

My Little baby .......starts KINDER today

Yep you heard right...
My little Lauchie has his first day of Kinder today...
He is SUPER excited and i am too in a way....Its all very exciting...but also a little SAD too.....

This is me and little Lauchie....he is only a day or two old.....ohhhhhhhhhhh!

I will be sure to share photos with you after today....Lauchie is all set...he has his NEW Kinder bag, lunchbox and drink bottle....Im sure he will have LOADS of fun....and make HEAPS of new friends....

Onto other things....

Im not sure if i have shared this LO with you before....I cant remember....I created it for a class that i taught at SW...and then Lauchie used it at his Daycare for thier 'Family Wall' - so ive only just got it back...
